Chefs, Cooks and Early Childhood Teacher will be on a new priority pathway for VIC nomination

Great news for those who want to settle in Victoria, the second economy-leading State. The State has introduced a new pathway called Workforce Skills Pathway. Under this stream, the target occupations currently are Skilled Cooks, Chefs or Early Childhood (pre-primary school) Teacher. This stream will be available for both subclass 190 and 491 Nomination. The applicants must be living and working as their skilled occupation in Victoria.

Early this year, VIC has just one pathway to apply for the State's nomination which is called Target Sector. The applicants were required to be currently working with their STEMM skills in the business of one of the Target Sectors including :

• Health

• Medical Researcher

• Life Sciences

• Digital

• Agri-food

• Advanced Manufacturing

• New energy, emissions reduction and circular economy
